Triangle Kia Gets Scrap Happy
Since the introduction scrappage scheme, Triangle Kia has been increasingly busy with Chesterfield locals exchanging their old bangers for brand new Kias.  So far, Triangle Kia has scrapped over 100 cars including Mercedes, Subaru’s and Volvo’s as local motorists favour newer, more cost effective cars, such as the Kia Picanto.
While any car on the market is available under the scrappage programme, the most popular within the Kia range is undoubtedly the Kia Picanto, which currently accounts for 74% of Kia’s new car orders.  Providing customers scrap a roadworthy ten year old car, Chesterfield motorists can drive away in a brand new Kia Picanto.
Mark Ellis, Sales Manager at Triangle Kia said: "The scheme has given our business a fantastic boost; we’re so busy I’m considering hiring an extra person to help us cope with the demand. The scrappage scheme has surpassed everyone’s expectations in terms of immediate sales, and we’re definitely making hay while the sun shines, we do need to keep an eye on the bigger picture and work hard to maintain these high sales levels, especially if the current economic climate continues.”
The scrappage deals continue at Triangle Kia with the Kia cee'd family, which comes complete with seven year bumper-to-bumper warranty and five-star EuroNCAP safety rating, starting at just £7,995, a package unrivalled in the UK motor industry. Even the fresh and stylish Kia Soul, launched in March, can be bought for just £8,495 complete with a five year warranty under the scrappage incentive.
